Smart Mining Safety

MAAS built an AI anti-violation safety platform for a large mining investment company in Xinjiang, combining computer vision with mine-site supervision rules to identify violations, trigger real-time alerts, support analysis and traceability, and archive video evidence.

The platform connects underground and surface operation video streams into a unified algorithm pipeline. Around personnel behavior, equipment status, operating areas, and safety rules, it recognizes scenarios such as missing protective gear, entry into restricted zones, abnormal gathering, and equipment-adjacent risk.

The project created a full loop from video access and edge inference to rule configuration and event review, helping the mining customer move safety supervision from after-the-fact inspection to always-on intelligent warning.
